Loyalty
Is there somethng that you are so completely loyal to that you would sacrifice your life for?  The dollar, your family, your community, your church.  What are these things and what are they built apon?
Loyalty to now, or the escape.  Your loyalty breeds the rationalization needed to justify.
Does your loyalty to love get out of the house , or your loyalty to the fear of loss?  You may be loyal to your next fix(escape from the present).  What is the thing that keeps us searching and committed to it?  Here you are reading this, but you can't stay here forever.  Everything changes, and its how you adapt to that change that is the power.
Once you are in your comfort zone, it's the routine- the ritual.  You sacrifice present awareness for the spiced-up, powdery daily grind.  What comes after we are no longer numb like Floyd.
